NOTE: Curly Koa is a highly prized, figured variant of Hawaiian Koa wood, known for its distinctive, shimmering, wavy grain pattern and rich golden-to-reddish-brown colors. The rare curly figure, occurring in only about 10% of trees, is caused by a compressed cross-grain structure that creates a dimensional, iridescent effect. Valued for its strength, stability, and unique beauty, curly Koa is used in high-end furniture, musical instruments like guitars and ukuleles, and decorative art pieces.
